To preserve freshness and provide quality product, Tri Marine's wetfish processing plant is located on the water close to the fishing source.
San Pedro Plant
TriMarine Fish Company
San Pedro, California
The Tri Marine San Pedro wetfish plant has the capacity to freeze over 200 tons per day of squid, sardines and mackerel.
This modern facility has its own berth so boats can unload directly into the plant. The plant is located in the middle of the port of Los Angeles so export shipment by refrigerated container service is readily available.
TriMarine Fish Company specializes in bulk packs of squid (loligo opalescens), sardines (sardinops sagax) and mackeral (scomber japonicus). Retail packs are also available.
In addition to wetfish processing, this plant is a buying station for albacore caught by the West Coast troll fleet and for tuna caught by U.S. purse seiners and bait boats.
