Tri Marine plants depend on tuna supply from three major sources of raw material: the Eastern Tropical Pacific, the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean.
This diversity of supply is essential due to the variability of raw material supply.
Production Planning
Tri Marine works with the management of each plant to optimize the production plan for that plant.
Boat Point of Destination
As fishing boats finish their trips, Tri Marine will decide with the boat owner where the boat should go for unloading. They are directed to a port for direct delivery to a plant or to a carrier for transshipment.
Plant Dynamics
The production requirement for each processing plant is a function of raw material availability, the plant's relative cost of production, market conditions, and other considerations.
